The energy and enthusiasm brought by the participants, coupled with the professionalism of Proud2Bsafe, created a truly unforgettable experience. The firewalking event not only raised funds for Beaumont Hospice but also fostered a sense of community and shared purpose.
Being invited back to Jason’s home as the venue added an extra layer of significance, making the event particularly special for Kirsty, who is a good friend of Jason’s. The intimate home setting created a unique and memorable atmosphere that added to the overall impact of the afternoon.
We would also like to extend a special thank you to Abbi for her outstanding efforts in organising the event. Abbi’s dedication and attention to detail ensured that everything ran seamlessly, contributing to the success of the firewalking fundraiser.
We were inspired by the courage and determination displayed by all who took part in the firewalking challenge and also the arrow challenge thrown into the training. It showcased the strength of unity and the power of individuals coming together to make a positive impact. Knowing that the funds raised will contribute to the compassionate care provided by Beaumont Hospice adds an extra layer of fulfillment to our collaboration.

In addition, we are excited to share that we are in the planning stages of a unique firewalk tailored to Jason’s needs. Despite being in his wheelchair, Jason will bravely traverse the coals using his hands.
