Running Firewalk Events is the wildest, most rewarding ride of my life – and right now, we’ve got so much coming up that I had to pause, breathe, and write this blog to share what’s ahead… and a little reminder I’ve had to give myself lately.
✨ What’s Coming Up at Firewalk Events?
We’re right in the heart of our event season – and the energy is electric!
Here’s just a few of the exciting things we’ve got lined up:
- Wigan & Leigh Hospice Firewalk – our annual event on the hospice car park. Still time to sign up and support this amazing cause.
- TWO blazing lanes at an upcoming firewalk at Gone Wild Festival in Norfolk, then Devon, with only 200 spaces available at each – and they’re going fast!
- Corporate team-building days, summer charity walks, LEGO pits, Legowalks, Lego games, and mini golf madness… the calendar is stacked!
- ✨ Our growing wellness offerings through IGNITE Meditations and The IGNITE Circle for those craving stillness, connection and spark.
- 💖 New collaborations with schools, charities, and festivals that believe in the power of mindset and community.
Every single one of these events is more than just a gig – they’re moments of transformation. People arrive unsure and walk away with fire in their eyes (literally!). It’s an honour to be part of it.
💭 But Let’s Talk About
Balance
for a Moment…
What no one really talks about when you’re running your own business – especially one full of adrenaline, travel, planning, people and passion – is how easy it is to burn out when you’re constantly saying “yes” to everything.
Yes to helping.
Yes to squeezing in another event.
Yes to working late… again.
Yes to carrying the weight of the world because you don’t want to let anyone down.
But here’s the truth I’ve had to learn recently:
🔥 You can light up the world without setting yourself on fire.
Saying “no” doesn’t make you selfish.
It makes you wise.
It makes you available for the things that truly matter.
It makes your “yes” more meaningful.
As someone who pours everything into her work – into the people, the energy, the magic – I’ve realised the importance of protecting me too. Time for rest, creativity, family, reflection… these are the fuel behind the fire.
💡 My Message to Fellow Entrepreneurs and Fire-Starters
If you’re running a business, raising a family, working towards your dreams, or juggling all three:
Remember to pause. Say “no” sometimes. Reconnect with what you need.
The business won’t collapse if you take a moment to breathe. In fact, it will likely grow stronger – because you’re stronger.
❤️ Stay With Us – It’s Going to Be an Amazing Year
I’ve got so much more to share with you soon – new events, a growing team, and more ways for you to step into your power.
And remember:
You can do hard things.
You can walk through fire.
But you don’t have to do it all at once.
See you soon,
