I’ve walked on glass, danced on fire, broken boards with bare hands, and built a business from nothing but grit and a spark of purpose…
But nothing — and I mean nothing — prepared me for the wild, emotionally chaotic, utterly exhausting adventure that is… moving house.
This week, I officially became a homeowner.
Just let that sink in for a second.
A girl who once hit rock bottom and thought she’d never feel secure again… now holds the keys to her very own front door.
And while I’m beyond excited for this new chapter, I can honestly say — hand on heart — it has been the most stressful event of 2025 so far. No firewalk has had me sweating this much. No glasswalk has tested my patience like finding old junk in boxes marked “essentials.” And no mindset workshop has required this much self-coaching just to stay sane.
Four days. That’s all I had to clear, sort, pack, label (and re-label), clean, organise, coordinate, deep breathe, shed a tear, and somehow still run a business and be a mum. But… I did it.
This move wasn’t just about bricks and mortar.
It’s the symbol of how far I’ve come — from heartbreak to healing, from survival mode to signing contracts. I’ve been through the kind of struggles that don’t make it to Instagram reels. But I’ve kept going. And now, I’ve arrived — literally — at a new doorstep and a new beginning.
To say I’m proud doesn’t even cut it.
This isn’t just a home. It’s a win. A long overdue one. And I’ve earned every square foot of it.
Of course, I didn’t do it alone. Massive flaming THANK YOU to my ride-or-die crew:
Mum (my Earth angel), Dad (still rolling his eyes but always helping), Graham (you legend), Uncle Matt, my brother Josh (who definitely owes me a back massage), and my little superstar Harrison, who has been my motivation from day one.
And to anyone else who pitched in — whether you moved boxes, brought snacks, or just sent supportive messages when I looked like a walking bin bag — thank you from the bottom of my overpacked heart.
I’ve got a home.
I’ve got a garden.
And next week, I’ll have a cuppa in that garden, take a deep breath… and get ready to rise even higher.
New home.
Same fire.
